I think in the Old Days if you had your channel name in the title it would help to make more of the suggested videos on the watch page your videos as opposed to other channels'. I think that strategy might not work now unless you are in a tight genre with not too much other competition and the algorithm has no idea what to put in suggested so it sticks more of your videos.
That aside, if you have some fame, the title would definitely help as that is a known brand. Pewdie, DCTC, Machinima, etc. For small guys like us, I've seen no real benefit as yet. I do have it sometimes, but only when I have maxed out the title with keywords and have room left over. I do have the channel name in the tags and description.
