Does Anyone Use Adobe Premiere Elements 11?

I used to encode at 32, but have since dropped to 8 on Target. My one issue is that I don't have a dedicated editing computer. If I did, I'd keep the bitrate high, but I need to keep using this machine and it's useless for anything else while rendering. It's funny they mentioned the "enterprise quality internet connection" but nothing about the double or worse render time. :)
My render time is horrible, I leave it overnight. I have a very poor editing computer, but I can't complain it gets the job done. My only issue is the bitrate can be high, but if the bit depth is too high it will crash. Try to prioritize the application using task manager when rendering.

Core 2 Duo Quad 2.33 ghz locked (no overclock :( )
6gb DDR2
Intel g 43/ 45 express chipset

Oh I've gone through all of that. Setting core affinity, etc. It doesn't help. heh. I'm running a Core i5-3470 with 16GB DDR3.

I'm practically drooling over your specs XD. Try not to do anything while rendering. Ya, there's nothing you can do really. As long as the program doesn't crash, I guess its not too bad. I've had render times upward of 8 hours on 3 minute videos (1080p, high bitrate, 8 bit depth).
