Does anyone upload daily? If so, did you see changes in your channel growth?

ITS INSANE. I literally go to one of my classes, come back, record, go to another class, edit, then go to the gym, then study/freetime. It's hectic. It's definitely doable especially for me since I live near campus. I have noticed that I've gotten subscribers at a quicker rate, and i've only been doing daily for one week. I'll post a thread later after a month or so of my opinion. BUT If you are doing it i'd do as I am doing now and take the weekends off. :)

I went from 3 videos a week to 6 videos a week a few months ago. Not daily, but almost. And it doesn't seem to help at all. In fact, my average view count dropped from 15 to 12.

I've attempted to upload daily on my current channel as well as previous channels I have run; I usually end up deciding not to post more than one video a day because the second video tends to be low quality in terms of content.

I would say that the optimal posting schedule is 2-4 times a week, depending on realistically if you have the time to edit and upload.

i upload daily, its really really fun. I've started scheduling my videos for 4 o'clock everyday, that allows me to record videos all day and edit them all and get them ready to spread across the days/week :D

It's super hard to upload daily. Your content quality will always take a dip.
haha i'm not gonna lie, it is pretty hard but hopefully it will all pay off in the end, just gotta keep going haha, i suppose your right too! but i will try my best to keep it top quality :D

Have you checked views per day and not views per video? When I put up multiples yeah my each video that day might get 80% of what they would if I only put one up. But two videos at 80% are more views per day, than one video at 100%. Also more views on 2 combined means more people might watch my other videos after that. As well as getting more videos out there to create an archive of videos to go watch.

There is another youtuber that uploads videos of the same game I do and he stole a build from me. I was kinda p****d and I started looking at his channel, which was bigger than mine and I noticed well he has well over twice my subs but less daily views. Then I looked at his socialblade and he was getting 20 times my views per day since he had over 1000 videos uploaded.

Now I don't want to be like his channel but getting stuff out there and being less dependent on your newest upload is a great thing for a youtuber. So by doing daily or more than daily you can get to that point much faster. I'm really close to 700 uploads now, less than 2 years in and its going really well.

Unless it's a daily vlog where you can easily find content, it's hard to imagine having the time to upload a truly *quality* video every day. I suppose it's niche dependent. Gamers likely play a game every day so maybe it's easy to record an hour of that gameplay, edit it down and upload. (Though I admit I do not understand gaming channels AT ALL. LOL). And daily blogs are, by their nature, a part of your every day life. But for scripted videos with researched content and decent production value, unless you work part time or have a team of people to help, I just can't imagine many channels and niches that could produce actual quality content on a daily basis.

Yeah for gaming channels and vlogs, I should of added that part. I do gaming and I try to put up 15 to 20 min videos, but I have gone up to 3 hours. It's not that hard to get up 2 15 to 20 min videos without sacrificing content.

I started with 3 videos a week, went down to 2 to 1 and now do between 1-3 videos a month. I noticed no decline in views or subscriber increases. Other than the downturn of 2016 when everything went to crap and I really was hobbyzoned with no hope of doing it full-time ever. I am a fair believer in quality over quantity.
