Does anyone lose subscribers when they post?

At first I had this problem. However, I've gained lately and I haven't even posted the videos on here or anywhere else for that matter. Actually when I upload, it automatically posts on my Twitter and G+ but that's all I've bothered to do. I made sure I had proper tags and title.

I have my good and bad days.
 
Yes - especially if we upload a video which is not typical for our channel (for example our last kids science video). It took almost 24 hours for the channel to return back to growth. But as somebody else mentioned only the subscribers who stay really matter!
 
Typically I lost 5-20 subs per day. But on a day I upload I lose 30-40 subs. I'm gaining much more than I'm losing though.
