Use GIMP!

Yeah I was going to suggest that lol. I used to use GIMP all the time. I even took a class on it in High School. Well because they couldn't afford Photoshop lol. Then as I got into college I was able to get Photoshop and use it all the time

yeah make a thread on here with your details. Also do a search on YouTube for graphic designers. There is a lot out there that will make them for free or for a good price.

So you'll need a photo editor
1. Download a template for the banner
2. Open it in your photo editor
3. Whatever background you want your banner to be make it on aa seperate layer but put it under the template
4. Make a new layer
5. Make your banner on this layer but stay within the boxes of the template
6. When you are all done and you are sure the sizing is done, delete the template layer
7. TA-DA
