Does anyone have the time to review my video?

LostTrigger

YTtalk Mad
I have a gaming channel where i like to upload gaming related news videos and funny/entertaining(adleast i hope it is lol) videos. These two are my most recent ones and i wanted to get your opinion on how I could improve them?

Thx for any advice :)

Hello fellow gamer!
Just my little input I could give with you videos is I really do like the quality of your video and sounds they are very clear as well as your balance between your voice and the background music. Now with the first video what I really would think could be improved is the tone of voice you use while talking it doesn't seems like yourself like I could tell from the second video with your first video it kind of seemed you were trying a lot not to change tones and include emotion seemed very robot like personally I think even in informational videos the use of emotion and different levels of tone could be a good thing because it doesn't leave the video a little dull but I could be wrong I really hope this helps you out best of luck!:)

Yea haha I'm in college so when I record videos I'm paranoid and thinks someone listening but on weekends when I'm playing with friends I seem to care less lol

But I understand and thx :)

Okay I have to clarify that I am by no means a great Youtuber and even less of a gamer. But I can give you my impressions.
I agree with the previous answers and I also understand you situation :) but voice acting is the main issue. My other suggestions. Add an intro saying what you are going to talk about (briefly, a teaser) followed by a branding banner. You could say something like: "Are you looking to buy (such and such and such ) games? I found 3 places that you can get them cheap!" you get the point. Also I felt that you could use more relevant graphics. For example you could have shown the screen shot of the sites you were talking about with a posted link . When you talk about a specific game you could show a clip of that game. The lists were a good idea but I got lost in them, it would be a good idea to zoom in the game titles you are talking about so we can follow you. You might be able to keep the game running on the background and show the relevant info on windows (I don't really know if it will work but try it, you never know). There is quite a lot of trial an error in video making. Finally keep an eye on you "audience retention" in your analytics it will tell you exactly what parts need more attention. Good luck!

P.S.
Could you return the favor and look at my question, my thread and give me some ideas? Thank you.

I've taken a glance at what you've got going on and I saw that you requested a review in my thread. I'm working hard to get caught up right now, and I'm closing in on your channel fast. Hopefully I can have something for you in the next few days. Stay tuned.[DOUBLEPOST=1429767619,1429767490][/DOUBLEPOST]
