basic line is they will pay you if you follow the rules. No fake traffic, no copyright infringement, no black hat thing whatsoever and so on....

I try to find local people to support my channel. I still only get free tacos from the local stand by me per video but it is a very tasty perk.

As far as I know, they do pay but only after they take out their part.
