What defines "big" these days? If "big" means having several millions of subscribers then no, I do not strive to become that big. Not yet, maybe if the opportunity arises, but it's neither a short- or long term goal right now.

If "big" means "being able to live off of it" then yes, I do intend to get up to that point. I've always been into gaming and video editing, so why not combine the two and make it my job? :D
 
I would love to get big on youtube, definitely have set as a long term goal, because when I see famous youtubers have some awesome fan bases that are always supportive, I think that would be awesome to have!

But for right now I'm just focusing on making a better channel!
 
Do I want to get big on YouTube? No.
I want the stuff I make to get seen by everyone who might enjoy it.

It's such a privilege to have a platform like YouTube, that it would be a shame not to use it.

You spent like 20,ooo euros and a year of your live making a short film, and another two getting into festivals, even win a price or two and in the end a couple of hundred people have seen your film.

Then you spent a few hours with your camera in your living room and get thousands of viewers from all over the world.

Words can't describe how amazing that is.

We thought MiniDV cameras where a big deal for the liberation of film making when I first got into it. A few years ago shooting on HD was just as expensive as shooting on film, now you have 1080p in your phone, and DSLRs with great lenses.

Having all this and ways to reach people from all around the globe is such a big privilege, NOT using it would be irresponsible!
