Do You Watch Youtube?

Our kids watch an hour per day for fun. They mainly watch their favorite kids channels.
I watch for research, latest trends, see what my competitors are up to :)
Once the work is done, I watch funny stuff to relax.

Actually I never watched before I started a channel and except for people on here I don't watch anything at all, except old commercials
 
I'm watching youtube or twitch everyday for an hour or so... Either to find inspirations, ideas, tips, or only for fun. I tuned mostly on gaming channel or music because I prefer listening music on youtube than on the radio will all the ads they got over there!
 
I have an educational channel (Not like sitting in a classroom!!!) but I actually really like gaming channels though. I'm a huge Bethesda fan and love fallout and skyrim!

wow okay, so what made you start a youtube channel. where you making videos and posting them through random peoples letterboxes before and then someone told you about this thing called youtube? :P
 
I watch a bunch. I have a job where I have to keep an eye on a number of different forums (like this type of forum) and that isn't entirely attention-needing, so I can do things like watch videos while I'm monitoring for things I need to do.

I mostly stick with smaller channels, because to me, that's the fun of being on YouTube. The larger channels all start to look like advertisements to me.

Part of it was I didn't have any internet (other than on flip phone)for about 10 years until 2 years ago, so I didnt know about it other than the name. Somehow I got the image that YouTube was just awful bootleg movies and so I just never bothered. Actually I was a tv director many years ago and it led to me making education videos for a school which then put them on YouTube. We had a conflict of interest and I said I'll just go on my own. All my non game videos were rejected ideas by that school.

But yes honestly really I never saw YouTube until I saw my first video on the schools channel. There may have been times before where someone showed me something from there but I don't recall knowing it was YouTube. So now when I become famous I'll have a funny backstory to get lots of hate about haha
 
I've been watching YouTube videos non-stop for about 10 years. It started with the old viral videos from one-hit wonder YouTubers of the past, along with watching TV shows, back when YouTube allowed this, to watching new YouTubers, who's full time job it is to post online. I mostly watch for personal entertainment and educational purposes, and not really to inspire my own videos.
