Do you use the YouTube Watermark feature?

I am wondering if i should use the feature that puts your avatar photo in the corner of all your videos. I see some channels that do this but i don't know if i like it. If i wanted an water mark i could just add it to my videos when i edit them.

What do you think? do you use this feature?

I like it but I wouldn't use it in place of using an actual watermark, if you rely on the feature and YouTube ever remove it no one will see any watermark on your videos, they're also downloadable without a watermark as they're technically not watermarked. Watermarks are normally placed within the original video/hardcoded so they're hard to remove.

I use it just because its an easy way for people to click and subscribe, it also may remind people about subscribing without even having to actually say it.

I also use my watermark in my videos and i actually came across a video that used my clips in their intro and because i water marked my videos it clearly has my name on a video that got seen by over 20k people

That is great! I guess I might watermark my videos in post but I am unsure of the youtube watermark. I want full control over what is seen and it might cover over something in one of my videos.

I think about the area of the screen it covers whilst i film and edit, so it never blocks something i dont want it to

I use it because I feel it adds a bit of professionalism to it
Though it does annoy me on my phone as it takes up way too much space on the screen :L

I use it. I gives the viewer another button to subscribe to you. The more the merrier.

nope i dont use it i put my branding watermarks on all my videos in editing

I have it turned on, but it's so small. I watermark all of my content manually via Premiere as well.
