Do you use a script for your videos?

I personally do, but perhaps its because im new to youtube. I write down a new bullet points to make sure i don't go off track, or miss any key features out of my commentary. In the future i imagine it will come more naturally to me, and i will not need to write anything down
 
I used to just do my videos in one shot, and hope for the best, no script or anything just planned what to say, i would often forget once recording though, but some of the videos this worked others it didn't, now i tend to write little notes down so i remember exactly what i want to talk about, and stop and start the camera, so i can remember what i want to say or do before i start recording again, or i just keep filming and edit the bit out inbetween where i forgot the words or whatever

My dogs can't read so I don't really write anything down. I'll do reminder notes in my phone of video ideas, but I don't script anything.
 
The first few videos I did, I didn't use scripts, and it took much longer to record and edit because I would ramble about non-important stuff and was trying to figure out how I wanted to present everything on the spot. I use scripts now and the time it takes to record and edit is MUCH MUCH lower. The script helps me stay on track and know where I am in the editing process. But of course, I still leave myself open to improvise if I think of something funny/cool when I'm recording/editing.
 
the first and second year, yes i did because i wasn't comfortable talking on camera and i forget what to day, however i filmed one today without any script and i felt proud of myself of how much my confidence improved.
 
On my next video I'm gonna try to make a storyboard outline. Usually I just get an idea and go with it, but then I start to lose the creativity needed for each shot.
 
Personally, I script like 90 percent of the time! it makes it a lot easier for me to organize my thoughts and make sure my video gets to the point. :D

Rarely, I just get in front of a camera and talk. Unless, I am just oozing with ideas and a pencil and paper will get in my way!
 
Yes. I use a script. I actually purchased an app for my iPhone called PromptSmart for $10. And it scrolls when I talk! You can also set it to scroll at a certain speed.

Using a script does work better for me. I was rambling before. Screwing up. Getting frustrated. OF course with a script, you have to practice a bit so it doesn't sound like you are reading from a script
