Kind of, yeah. It's kind of like fixing something that wasn't broken to begin with, in this case at least.

Google is taking over the world. It saddens me how messed up things seem to be changing too. I wish they would stop for a while.

It's annoying how frequent YouTube changes and how much it changes in a single time. I wish they would just stop with it and let it be the same for like 1 year or more.

You can still reply to comments the same way you would previously. However they have to be new comments at the moment and you can't to old comments.

As for is it changing to much. They change every few months. I've learned to learn the new features and use it to my advantage. They do these things for a reason. They do it simply to make more money and in order to make more money they need more viewership. Meaning if we use it we should theoretically get more viewership if we use it correctly.

So far I've been seeing an increase so I'm not complaining.

It actually seems like I may be getting more traffic with the new layout, I've seen comments where people tag people and hashtag my videos. when I go to google + and search the hashtag, my one video was right there and has +1s. Instead of complaining about something that is impossible to change, figure out how to use it. Like I've said multiple times, as soon as I switched to the Youtube One Channel thingy a while back, my views jumped noticeably. Now my biggest source of views is people clicking on my other videos after watching one of my popular ones, before One Channel it wasn't nearly as high. This is Social Media Darwinism, those who adapt will survive and the weak will die off. I personally see a TON of potential once I figure out ways to manipulate posts and get rid of all the other annoying quirks. I have a marketing degree and I see the Internet becoming a very opportunistic place for advertising, data gathering, and getting little known names out to the masses VERY quickly. Maybe one day I'll switch jobs to become an SEO optimizer or something, lol.

Well said man, I agree completely. I mean, I personally would rather utilize the changes in a manner that will help me, rather than just talk about how bad I think they are, or how frequent they might be.

Exactly! I think you're one of the few people who I've seen actually like it. I'm finding the Google + route as a great way to draw in a shitload more people that would never see you. I've been gaining followers, been added to circles, causes ripples, etc. mostly on pictures so far, but these people will be connected to me in the future as far as I know. I'm figuring out a way to mix up everything to not only gain traffic to Youtube, but as always, to find useful information or funny stuff from the communities. I'm always very active in the dog communities since I'm a dog dad, lol. I must be doing something right if my pups made it onto TV multiple times!
