Do you think your improving?

Nope. I keep telling myself my next vid is gonna be better and try to do better but it is just as bad. After making 70 videos, I thought my commentary was getting better but then I look at my old videos and I made barely any improvement at all. I should not be a commentator, I have a bad voice for it. -.-
:(

I think the quality of my videos continues to improve, especially my vlogs. I know a lot more about editing, lighting, camera and sound quality than I did when I first started. Now if only my views would reflect that ... :p

Yes! Ever since that one thread I posted, I have been starting to just accept myself more. Be able to step out of the silent shadows and INTO THE LIGHT!!
Yes sir!!!!! Who CARES what people think? People are as diverse as pebbles on a beach! For every yes there will be a no, for every "I like this" there will be an "I hate it" so who cares!!! If you like it? IT'S GOOD.

I wouldn't give up so easily; no one likes their own voice when they hear it.

Do you know what you're not doing right? Otherwise it's hard to make changes to improve. Keep at it, practice makes perfect! Everyone hates the sound of their own voice so don't worry about that.

The differences between our videos have usually been to do with editing and equipment(my first video has the dreaded black bars on the side and was recorded with an iphone LOL) but as ive been making videos ive been realising the more effort and time you put in a video it will be better be and this has began to show (and i hope the viewers can see it too) in our videos :D

I don't even dare to look back at my early videos because I know how much I have improved, and I can't stand to look at how bad I was. However, I know I am always improving and in a year I know I will look back and say to myself, "How could I have thought this was good?!?!".

Great thread. Currently I'm just making them and putting them out and in a way experimenting, I'm still getting to know myself, the tools, and the art. So although I have tried to improve on things I've got feedback on, I'm still generating enough "data" to analyze.

That being said, I do want to find something more original to do in my videos.

Slowly but surely. I'm more annoyed at the fact that 80% of my videos are old and not as good as I just started uploading again.
