Do you think using a tag generator is good ?

It can be as long as you apply some critical thinking to it as well. It should be used to help you get ideas for writing tags but not always be the tags itself.
 
tags have been an awful problems for me. I seem to never be able to come up w/ something effective. Either the tags I see are too competitive, they make very little sense or they are too vague. I wish that making videos was more about actually making content than the wole SEO magic
