Do you think this forum is useful to share your channel?

I was wondering how much people's channels have grown from when they first posted on here until now, I feel like this forum helps with accountability and slight promotion with the channels and video topic (I think) (you have to buy it). Personally I am just really curious if anyone has noticed haha I do not think I'll get a big following but there is always a chance. I think the forum personally keeps up with my accountability.
I mean, it's not really primarily for that, but if you are lucky you'll meet some cool people who will support you. Just don't go around begging for it, and no sub4sub and things will be awesome! There IS a place that you can promote yourself once you earn the cash, so that's cool. Sometimes places like that turn into a dumping ground, but I know for a fact at least I go there to check out people's videos so maybe there are others that do too lol I've seen it, so that's at least a couple of people! I've gotten a few subs though surprisingly. So it's just gravy. :D I like that you are using it for accountability. That's a good way to go about it!

I have noticed a couple names from the forum here pop up in my subscribers. that is kind of surprising to me considering I don't think there are very many here who could give 2 squats about the type of video's I make. but the forum is very useful in other respects for growing your channel.

I have been here since 2013 and in five years, I have gained half a million subscribers! That being said, if anybody has subscribed from here, the number is insignificant. This group is not my target audience.

That being said, I have subscribed to some people but most have stopped creating content. I can think of two who still do. One is @Tarmack and the other, I can't remember his channel name at the moment. It's survivor-type content.

I find it useful as a venue to just hear other creators talk. I don't post work or my channel here as far as sharing it because I want the subs to be real viewers that want to come back. But I enjoy talking with people on here.[DOUBLEPOST=1520211423,1520211328][/DOUBLEPOST]

I hope we have your success. We are about a year into our channel and it's a lot of work. We love to do it which is why we're still around. First rule is def just do something you love. But the amount of work we put into our videos only ensures I can post 1 each Friday. I don't think the formula will help us grow too fast but someday it would be amazing to have your success. Love your channel.

It might. I mean, I did find a few channels here that I probably would have never found if I wasn't on this forum. And I ended up doing a few cameos some time back on channels I also discovered here. It helps in a way, and also you bring attention to yourself by having one of your videos in the signature. And there are even topics about reviewing your channels and videos. So yeah, this forum does help a bit.

I think anyone who participate on this forum consistently might get a few subs/views
I think this is right. I know I´ve gotten some subscribers from this site and some views for sure:up2: But of course Yttalk will never be the place you will gather a big audience from.. You got to all the other (boring)promotional stuf too:) Social media shares, SEO, collabs and so on...... But sure you can pick up a bit from here:up2:

If there's any way to share your channel, you should do it. (Within reason)

You could also get valuable feed back within the community to make better videos :D.
