Do you think dead channels are cursed by something?

Actually I only really started uploading a lot within the past two weeks and the cumulative views have given me 2.4k views however the rest is just from older videos .
I checked out some of your videos how come some of your videos have no interaction but yet they have views?

which ones are you referring to? Most of my videos have interactions either through comments or likes. It is quite normql for me to get 50 hits without a like or comment even though it is unlikely. I market a lot in reddit so people interact with the reddit upvote and comments section but dont interact on the video iteself.

Stellar Lummsns and a coupe others I don’t exact name it has 1 like and around 20O views and other has 5 and 400 views. I use to Reddit but then I stoped because this msn and his middle aged friends was harassing me with inappropriate messages.

Ahh I uploaded the stellar lumens just because people at the meeting wanted to watch the video, so it wasn't necessarily for my youtube audience. Also on the reddit thread I posted it in I received a lot of interaction. https://www.reddit.com/r/Stellar/comments/81a52o/london_stellar_meetup_reupload_with_much_better/

Also one like per 100 views is perfectly fine imo especially since my sub rate does increase. So the 5 likes for 400 views isn't bad because people still interact and have the video saved on their playlists.

I don't think there are dead channels but being consistent is a key to having a successful YT channel, especially in terms of SEO. I actually do study data science (even though I have a gaming channel) and one thing that I have realized is that search engine takes more into consideration things like how often do you post, when do you post, the content of the description, tags, title and believe it of now thumbnail content. Based on all of that, it parses those into an algorithm that's going to give it a score. Now based on what people search and the type of channel they are watching you might or might not get recommended.

Of course the higher the views are, the more likely you are to get recommended, that's why it is important to keep posting often so you're reach increases. Additionnally make sure that your description, title and tags are as descriptive as they can be. YT will undestand what your video is all about and will be able to show it to the appropriate audience.
