Do you think "big YouTubers" have a responsibility to "little YouTubers?"

Should bigger YouTubers take the time to help promote smaller YouTubers?

I think they shouldnt have an obligation seeing as they are the same as us but they are just more viewed and the majority of the time they must have done something right to get there without help

He works hard on his videos even though people don't think so. And he's been on Youtube for years, all youtubers starting out should realize this and stop thinking that they can get popular instantly. It's a very long and tough road to be that successful. Just my two cents on it

I don't believe that they have the responsibility to. I mean, it would be quite nice to, but no. I don't think that they are actually obligated unless they promised themselves that they would help out little youtubers. Actually, even with this reality, I don't like the label of bigger and smaller youtubers. Each has a way of expressing his or herself.

But getting back on track, some bigger youtubers like Whatthebuck hosts BuckFactor. It becomes sort of a contest to get featured on his channel. I've known youtubers to scramble for a chance to get featured, but I would personally like it better if Whatthebuck actually did the digging around himself.

Certainly if you're a comedian you're not going to promote someone who does makeup tutorials. But if there is a smaller channel who also does comedy and that person comes to you, why not give him a shout out? Its not going to hurt you or take away from your audience.
I FULLY AGREE WITH THAT

'Obligation' is a really strong word, IMO, but it sure would be nice, speaking as a small YouTuber, to be adopted by someone.
Perhaps you should start the YouTube big brother program.
Here, I even found a couple of domain names for you. YTbro.com and YTmentor.com
Good luck.

It would be nice to get a shout from a big YouTuber, but I don't believe they have to.

It's like working in a big company as something small and expecting the high-earners to get you into a better position. I'll stick to moping the floors while sticking my Dinohead posters on the walls at night.

It would be nice but i don't think they need to do it. If the rumors of Ray earing 2K a day are true I'd hope he gives some to charity. I mean if I made that kind I would give it to people in need. That is a lot of cash in a day XD
