Do you still feel like you're improving each video?

Cabbage Hunters

I Love YTtalk
Early on with youtube it felt like we made really big strides each video. Each one was significantly better than the last one. Now that we're pretty far in its more like we're steadily improving, but it doesn't necessarily feel like each video is a huge jump from the previous.

Anyone else feel that way?
Do you take that to mean you've gotten pretty good by now and you're running out of things to learn, or as a sign of monotony?

I think when you start, each video is a lot better than the last. The more you make the more each improvement is smaller because rather than learning, you're refining your skills.

Well I always try to improve my gaming commentary each video, but somehow my commentary sounds similar like other videos. I am improving my English accent, and I have been working on to speak something funny in the videos to make audience more happy. Overall my content is improving compared to my last videos. Nowadays I am trying to work on Thumbnails.

I think that with every video, there's another video's worth of experience to be gained. With that being said, not every video is a major improvement over the others. But the fact that you can say you've made x amount of other videos is substantial on its own.

Having such a small channel as mine, for me each video seems a improvement to me, comparated to the first I made and the last ones, is a progress, but probablly after spending couple months on eiditing, it will feel the same as you. Only time will tell

My channel is still very young, but yes, I do feel I'm improving...mainly in my commentary.
I'm becoming more confident, starting to make more jokes and doubting my commentating skills less ^^

While my channel is extremely young, I feel like I'm improving. I, myself am improving yet I wouldn't be sure if my videos are improving. I don't have good equipment and neither the experience of using different programmes, yet I'd say I get to improve with every video because I'm sooo new :)

Yeah I feel like I am, when I compare videos from my old channel and now the difference is massive. From not having the hardware to record quality content to not knowing how to edit videos correctly to providing good quality 1080p gameplay with clear a clear audible voice and some decent editing :)

I always review and watch my videos after rendering to see if I enjoy watching it before I uploaded it to YouTube. I remember mentioning something like this in a previous thread.
