Do you show your family/friends your videos?

I usually show everyone that would seem interested in mine, though i create content that i want to be seen so it just depend on the type of content you create :p

My family, the future in-laws and just about all of my friends know about my videos these days.
Which means that every once in a while, I have to tell the folks to skip one (like the one below) ;)
Back in '07 when I started my first vlog it was totally secret and I was kind of embarrassed about it, but it's much more fun to be out about it and share!

lol my family might find a video or two of mine a bit... odd. I think that's funny. :D I don't know though, because most of them don't really do the YouTube thing, and by that I mean they don't even browse as a casual user. None of them even have Facebook. They're all old. lol

I don't mind showing them to a few friends I know would be interested but I know some of them would be like "eh, what are doing this for?". I haven't posted anything to FaceBook cause there's people on there who I don't really want to see it. But I suppose if you're posting something to the web, it could found by them anyways.

On occasions I do, just to have a feedback: my friends are the mostra severe critica I know.

One thing I really dont like is recording when anyone is home, I like being alone when recording, I need to get over that feeling.
I really don't like that either. It feels weird to record when my mom's just in the next room.
But my family does know about my videos, they've seen them. Mom checks them out sometimes haha. My aunt is even subbed to me :hilarious2:
My online friends also know about my vids, but not many watch them... which is weird cuz they are the reason I even started :O_o2: Oh well.
As of yesterday, my school should also now know about my channel, because I shared one video and told everyone to watch and share for views. I don't know how many of them know by now, but that vid's sure got a lot more views now and also some of my other vids.
The thought of posting my videos randomly on facebook is still kind of scary, though. Should I just randomly do it without saying anything and not care what anyone's gonna think?

I would, and do. lol I don't see the point in being selective about who watches my videos. It's YouTube. A worldwide platform. If someone wants to find you, they'll find you. I do them for whoever wants to watch to watch, what little family I have included. They don't likey, they don't have to watchie. :)

I've actually found a lot of support among my tangible friends though. So I say doooo itttt!

Then I think I will do it :D
It might be weird to my school since they've never seen me the way I am in my videos, but who cares if they think it's weird? They can say whatever they want, but I already know I will make it on youtube, so if they do say anything negative...one day I will have gathered an audience for myself, and maybe my school will actually be proud they have someone like that in the school they go to. That would be quite cool :D

I usually get my wife to look at them for an immediate critic. Since she hasnt got a real interest in the games I/we play, I get feedback on the "movie work"
