Do You Save All Your Footage?

Yup! I keep external hard drives for everything I shoot, because you never know when you could use something you shot before.

Why would the video be deleted off YouTube?

It could happen by accident, by copyright claims or privacy reports. I see people whining about lost videos in the help forums all day.

The past is the past though. I'm more one for moving forward. And I hate cluttered drives.

I tried at the beginning but it just cost me so much space that I had to... delete some stuff But I keep all my rendered footage and only delete the raw footage that I'm sure not to use anyways

I tend to delete once every 2 weeks, so i'm probably in the delete everything category. But i do keep the edited videos.

Yes I always save it. But we are kind of family/kids vlog so these are precious memories for us. The only problem is that now we have terabytes of footage in single hard drives all over the place.

I keep the edited footage but always delete the raw footage. I sometimes think I'll use it again but that like never happens so I just let it go now

Oh I store it all. I still have files from my first videos back in 2008. It's fun to go back and look at them, and it's nice to have on hand.

I don't keep the original footage - it's just too much - but I do keep the rendered and edited videos on a special external hard drive.

I currently save everything. I just started my channel though so its not a whole lot. I do plan on getting a couple hard drive for all my footage/YT relate stuff. I use my preview completed videos in my outro i just mute or delete the audio when i drop it into my editing program.
