Do you remove videos with more dislikes than likes?

We don't have many subs, so we don't get a lot of likes / dislikes at the moment. BUT...

... if you have a video with, for example, 1 like and 3 dislikes, do you see that as an indicator that there is something wrong with the video, and then perhaps take it down and try again?

I wouldn't, but a lot of my dislikes are just people being dicks. How do I know? 25 dislikes in one day, almost none at all after that.

Thanks for the feedback and support.

I've always felt that people could like a video but not actually hit the like button. But usually, if someone dislikes it, they WILL hit the dislike button. Kinda gives off skewed data.

The video in question has 250 views (not a lot I know) and only 1 like and 3 dislikes. But maybe a lot more people like that video, but they just haven't 'liked it'.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.

It depends on the video. I disagree with the general notion that all negative feedback whether by comments or dislikes is just part of the business where trolls will be trolls. Honestly, sometimes it's a good indicator that you did a bad video. If you have a solid history of good content, positive feedback and then put out one video that has a lot of negativity, it may be worth considering that this video is not your best work. I do occasionally take down videos that I personally don't believe are the best I could have done. Sometimes I re-record them, othertimes I don't bother. Try to take an objective look at the video.

Now, that said. a video with 3 dislikes is by no means something that constitutes a negative trend.

Nah. I only have a few. The dislikers are usually those that completely fail to see that my video (and channel) are satire/comedy.

No. That's usually just an indication that people on the internet are assholes. I would only recommend taking it down if you personally don't like it.

What? Are you seriously saying that criticism is a sign that people are assholes?

No wonder why I left this site months ago.
