Do you recommend getting partnered?

oh my gosh i am so sorry

LOL been there... done that too.[DOUBLEPOST=1347736082,1347735889][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't think it's a bad thing to want to make a little change from doing something you like to do. It's a hobby with benefits.

But when I say change, I mean change. lol

The average YouTuber doesn't make much. I've been monetized for over a year now, and I've been paid three times. One of those times was when I closed my personal adsense account. Google sent me the balance.

Just keep doing it because you love it, and you'll be fine. It'll end up paying off in more ways that one (eventually).

I know very well that I make videos because it's really fun for me and I like to watch what happens after I've uploaded and shared it :D
But I have to admit I like the thought of getting a small bonus like a little money from doing what I like, because I'm still just a kid and any kind of money seems a lot to me, and I like being able to pay for stuff with my own money, also maybe I would be able to open some doors to new opportunities with earning money that way, like I could perhaps buy myself a better camera for even better quality videos... is that a wrong way of thinking?
not at all in my opinion your going to need some type of revenue to open up opportunities for example if i started earning money from youtube it could help me buy props, better equipment and also make merchandise to sell to my fans.

I would recommend getting partnered with a network. It's a lot more 'secure' to make your money, plus all the cool perks. From what I've heard Full Screen is really good for helping out the channels that they've partnered.

Most importantly just keep at making videos, especially since you enjoy doing it. Having fun should be the first priority. But, if you show networks that you are a hard worker that's serious about the content you upload that looks good in their eyes even if you don't have thousands of subs.

If you get accepted, do it! But build on your channel first. My channel is small at the moment, so don't take me for an example! But when you're there, take the opportunity, I've heard certain partnerships do really help YouTubers out! Like a-many have already said here, don't get blinded by the money: Keep on creating that awesome content! ;]

Fullscreen are great! Im with them and they've helped me build my channel LOADS! They do have requirements but if they like the content, they would sometimes consider bending them as already explained in here  but yeah my channel for example i don't have a very high view count but they liked my content and believed it can grow and help me out with it so make sure you really work hard on your channel and you will shine through! Good luck! Let us know what you decide to do

Partnering is only worth it if you have a significant audience at all, which a lot of people don't early on. That's the main thing; having an audience not only makes you look more appealing, it also has more benefit for you.

Try fullscreen. However I wouldn't apply now as you only have 13 subs. Apply when you get 20,000 views. Thats when I am applying :D
Yeah, I wasn't going to until I have a good amount of subs and views :D But I'll probably do it in the future.

This is a little OT, but just to let you know...You can use CafePress which is affiliated with YouTube to sell merchandise to fans.

All you need to do is:
1) Create an account at CafePress
2) Make some logos or pictures or whatever; save them as jpegs and upload them to CafePress
3) Choose and create the merch you wanna sell
4) Go over to your YouTube channel and click store and start adding your merch
5) Profit.

Sure CafePress takes a pretty hefty chunk of your $ BUT:
- You get your branding out there
- You get something for almost nothing as they do all of the work for you
- You don't have to worry about messing up an order as it's all on them

Might be something to think about....

And to the OP:
Fullscreen is great. I have several friends partnered through them.
