do you really need a partnership?

that's what I think too is it better to be a lone wolf or join a pack till they get you half way there then split?

I believe they wont do much for you if you dont have plenty of subscribers already
i think you get access to a forum and some music
but you can get free music from a bunch of sites including youtube itself and as far as forums go i think Yttalk is the best :p

I don't plan on joining a network anytime soon, if even at all :p

haha yea that's what I was thinking if they're soooo good and give you music to use when you can find awesome royalty free music online and they give you colabs which you can set up your self what's the point?.. as well as the forums I really like yttalk it's not full of people who have their heads up their a**
 
I don't think a partnership nessicarly helps you grow, but helps protect you more. Especially for gaming channels if you want to monetize your videos getting a partnership is a good idea. You still have to do basicly all the work to grow your channel though. Partnerships give you tools to help create better quality content though. Lots of them have a music catalog you can use if your having a hard time finding copy right free music.
