Do you mind if someone else uploads your video?

A lot of people have uploaded my videos before on their channel without my permission.

The only way I would allow them to do this is if they link my channel in the description. This way, if someone discovers this person's reupload of my video instead of my original video, it will still lead them to my channel and I will benefit. I see it as a potential form of advertisement although every one of these video stealing channels never seem to reply or read my messages so it never ends up working lol.

I usually just end up ignoring them and their channels are removed eventually due to other copyright claims.
 
I have never had the pleasure of someone stealing my videos :P But if someone did I would appreciate credit even in the description, not too fussed on that sort of stuff but when its a point blank rip with no credit then it becomes on issue, but yeah even "credit to XXXXXXXX for the video/help/advice"
 
I would be flattered, but I would probably have an issue if their uplaod was getting more attention than mine, if they monetized it or if they were pretending to be me. I would like for them to link to the original and my own content. It can be a compliment to a degree, but there's also a point where compliment turns to insult.
 
one of my videos that has gotten over 8 million views in 3 years was copied and posted on a Facebook page and they've gotten over 22 million views in just 2 months! They were not giving me credit...I was constantly being approached by Fullscreen so I decided to partner with them on just this one video hoping they could help....Fullscreen got the Facebook page to give me credit on the video description but I think that they should link to my original video not just give me credit on their copy. Does anyone know if it's possible to have the video from Facebook?
