I Love YTtalk
I personally think the YouTube Music App is okay but I don't get a few things about it and hate some of it and wish they would have the following.
1. Having the playlists from YouTube Available.
2. Add /remove songs or videos to your offline mixtape
I really hate how the Like and Dislike button has now switched to music. I'm afraid my music will get more Thumbs down just cause people don't want it in the station. The Like and Dislike system on YouTube used to be for if you truly disliked or liked something not for generated stations.
I noticed that if you dislike a song it says "Removing from stations" So that must mean it's removing it from all stations. With Pandora if you are in a hip/hop station and dislike a song it only removes it from that station not all of them. I much rather hear Metal in a Metal music station on YouTube Music App. When I was testing it the R&B pre made station kept playing Metallica and then switched to One Direction and after that it finally played R&B songs for about 5 min before switching to Dubstep. It's all over the place. Even Apple Music is better with their station thing.
Another thing that makes me annoyed me with YouTube Music App is the Offline mixtape hardly ever changes. Even when I personally searched for a few bands and listened to them for 4 hours today I still got the same Mixtape as before. I even tried changing the quality from audio to 480p and it refreshed with the same selection of songs/videos. If I like a song it then gets added to the offline mixtape. I shouldn't have to like everything for it to appear there.
Also, 1 and 2 above that I mentioned can be all done in the regular YouTube App and with YouTubeRed you get to make any playlist offline. Why have a music App in the first place?
