Check it out on my channel. Give me some criticism. I made it pretty quick so anything I can do to improve it would be helpful! Thanks :)
 
It's too plain in my opinion... I like the general idea.

I think if you softened the edges on the blue "lighting" and gave the background a little more depth it'd look a lot better. Also, try and upload it in PNG-24 if it allows you to, the quality will be a lot better.
 
Okay sweet! I can dig that. Thanks. I was trying to feather the edges in illustrator. i just couldn't figure out how. Pretty new to graphic design.
 
The essential of the design is good and the whole idea is good, but it just lacks something, something unique. I.e. I would make a specific minimalistic logo to your channel aswell and throw out the Avatar Image you got right now. This is because if you wanna make it minimalistic, it's better to have a totally seemless design :)
 
The idea is strong but the execution needs a little work, you can't center it because its not symmetrical. I would have the camera to the right pointing to the left make the blue triangular light take up the entire banner from the camera, center the title and possibly add a little minimalist design in the light it self like...negative cut out in some sort of frilly random design...sorry this is hard to explain LOL, if you need help I would be more than happy to help. Just contact me on FB or YT...I can't reply to messages on here for w/e reason.
