Do you keep all your Youtube projects stored after upload

I store everything. When uploaden to youtube its no longer your property. ;) No, serieously, story all my raw video's and the edited version. Better be safe then sorry I think. But, yeah it takes alot of harddrive space.

I keep all my videos backed up on a NAS drive which I can connect to over the network but I delete the original files after I have edited the video and rendered it. So I only keep the final copies. I would recommend just getting an external hard drive to put them all on or delete some video's that you are not too bothered about keeping as you can download them from YouTube at a later date.

I've wondered about this too. I have been keeping the finished footage and the original copies. I delete everything else. I bought a 4TB external drive to store it all and about to buy another one.

I've never really thought about it in too much depth before, but I always find myself making sure I save all of my projects after I create and upload them. Weather on an external hardrive, the computer or both :P

I don’t save final cut files. They are often 200gb. I save the raw footage

there is not much of a difference I think, most of the "library"s size is raw footage other support and project files are small...

Answering to the original post, I have already lost videos from previous channel so now I keep finished only videos.
At home I work with premiere so temp files is what I mostly delete.
My biggest space storage problem is family's videos and photos as long primary reason is to keep family memories :)

I keep all my gaming montages stored on my PC so that I can use specific clips from them in future videos. For example, I’ve made some Legend of Zelda BOTW Funny Moments montages - I’ll keep the project files and then use the funniest clips in an overall Legend of Zelda BOTW Funniest Moments of 2018 compilation later.

Keeping everything... everything! ...on external drives.
and... I can always (pretty quickly) dig-up any old video, recording or an image i made from years ago ( :help: )

All videos go to my external drives for safe keeping and to free HD space.
This was super helpful when I started new channels and wanted to move and videos to it.
I am using WD 4TB externals, You can usually find them for around $100 or less.

Yes, I ALWAYS keep my videos saved on my hard drive. I honestly don't think I will ever need them again since they are online, however I am just extra cautious for some reason, and I do want to have a backup file of all of my videos. haha.
