Did you Ever have a old channel that you gave up on?

I personally have had two other channels in the past. I left the first to take youtube more serious, then I gave up for a year on my old second channel. When I came back my active subscribers went from 2,500 to about 30 lol. I just recently started my official channel with the same name and brand as the old one. it's been just over a month and i'm already at 57 subscribers with an awesome community of supporters :D

I had another channel which I posted podcasts on. When the podcast ended, so did the channel.

Sound cool. But why not just continue on the old channel? Can you share why you wouldn't? :)

Good job on the start!

Iv had many "old" channels but my favorite one is my first one as it had stuff from 07-09 (I was 13 at the time) and it had a lot of funny moments with my friends, skits, and overall kids having fun. I have no idea if i ever even got more then 2k subs as it been so long but it was somewhere around there.

I have had plenty of old channels.
My first one I made in 2008. I didn't really take it serious, though. I just uploaded random videos.

I have this obsession not to leave digital footprints all over.
I usually delete whatever I don't use. So the answer is no.

:)

In fact about a year ago when i couldn,t figure out yttalk
I have jumped to official YT forum and asked to be deleted from here.
Luckily Crown (if I understand right is the admin?) didn,t do it.
Hahahaha!
:P XD

My older “serious” channel had 1 vid on it. It was about warrior cats, and I made it to make the fan base mad :I.

I left because I wanted to do gaming, which I now love!

Ive had about 10-12 channels. Half of them I deleted. The other half sit dormant but still draw regular traffic/income.
