I've Got It
I've been in the habit of scheduling my videos lately, and after doing some research online (mostly from articles from 2015) it seems that Thursday - Saturday are the most ideal days to post, and the morning (surprisingly, yet not so much after realizing I do much of my own YT surfing before going to work lol).

Do you follow these days roughly or have your own schedule?

I know other big Youtubers are able to make their own schedule after getting big, but for us smaller youtubers would it be ideal to follow this, does it give an edge, etc.?

I also schedule mine. I have a weekly schedule that allows my viewers to knwo exactly when I upload. I post every monday, wednesday and friday at 5 pm ( british time) because I find that a lot of people are online in europe at that time and its the morning time for most parts of america. This seems to work great for me and I am happy with it :) I might change it in the future but for now it works fine.
 
Scheduling has become a lifesaver.

You get to be more organized. Not to mention your subs would also adapt to the schedule slowly.

Do other stuffs with your mind at ease!
 
I schedule when I have a creative spurt and make a few vids at once so that I dont bombard my subs at once.

That sounds like a good and organized plan! I live in Japan but think my audience is mostly US/Canada so It's hard for me to choose a good time sometimes, but I always choose according to NA and not Japan. If you moved to America, would you change your upload time to adapt more to British time?[DOUBLEPOST=1478628175][/DOUBLEPOST]

How many videos do you often release within a week?
 
Thank you for sharing this information :) I usually never schedule but reading everyone's comments is making me get on it lol. I'm a busy mom trying to balance Youtube from our regular schedule so this sounds very appealing to me. :) I will have to try.
 
If you were to go to your Analytics page and click on 'Realtime,' you can see from the chart when most of your views happen. Track this over a week to confirm your peak times and schedule/ post your videos just before then to assure you'll hit the most people upon release.
