do you guys have an intro video?

I have an intro. I originally paid my animator to do an outro, but he threw together an intro for me free of charge. I've used it on every video ever since. It's only a few seconds but personally I think it's a great way for people to know they're my videos.

No, I don't have intro video yet, but intend to create one soon! I think intro video will help to get more subscribers.

I used to use one all the time. The animation was all 2D and it was to a roots metal song in the background. Idk to me at some point your realise intros work better when using them ironically. If you're planning on making an intro I'd really stress to keep it less than 5 seconds if even that.

They really don't weigh as much importance as they used to and tend to do more harm to channels than good, especially if you use something overdone like those 3D dubstep intros or animated minecraft to dubstep. Oh god just anything dubstep at the moment is going to get most people over a certain age just turning away from you videos right off the bat.

btw,
Yup we have a basic one (probably update it in the next month). No idea if it helps to be honest, but if it can claw you a some subs then you might aswell!
Had to actually go check you weren't actually RiFF RAFF man xD Thought for a second he had started a YouTube channel and was trolling around forums on the internet.

Nope. I post on a bunch of places, including Instagram, where you can't really link to a single video, so I always have my newest one right up on the front page. I guess it would make sense to have an introduction video, but I haven't found a way to say, "Hi, I'm Patrick, and I have long hair, I cook, and there are a lot of puppets here.....hey, where are you going???!?!?"

Oh, wait! I thought you meant a channel intro. I have a 3 second bumper that just uses my channel name and a "meow." I figure it may help to keep people from stealing something, should I ever have anything worthy of stealing. :)

I have one, My intro is about 6 seconds long I may shave that down to 3 cause it feels a little drawn out. I think having an intro video adds to the professional look of the channel and also lets viewers know what they are watching. I think finding when to insert the intro is just as important as having one. I wouldn't advise playing the intro as the first thing in the video. For example I tend to make an opening statement that gives a brief summary or question that sums up what the video is about before rolling the intro. I think having a good outro scene is just as important probably even more so.
