Never had that issue. If anything I get more "dude, you just hit 1K subs" or "You have grown so much since last time we talked".
I shrug, while I love the fact I am still growing, it is not why I do YouTube. Reminding me that I am lower than someone else? It has absolutely no effect on me if someone would start to do that.
