Do you ever feel self-conscious in front of the camera? How do you deal with it?

Yeah I started off being really uncomfortable in front of it, but in my last vid (Where I cut in clips from my first vid) I see I've grown a lot in front of the camera though I feel there's still a lot more to be done ^^

I don't care about that anymore.

Back in time, I remember when I said that I would never get any view because of my voice and appearance... Even tho I never stopped... Now I'm just worried about the image quality and the content

I also struggle with the same problem =( For me there's a number of problems actually. English is my second language, the lighting that is unfortunately not professional (^^;;) makes me uh blind, kind of, and I get a little nervous when I'm in front of a camera and just talking. It definitely feels new, weird but I think the only way to get over this particular problem is practice =D. Hope we can all soon talk freely in front of a camera as if we were just talking to a best friend!!

I was always very self conscious
But making videos actually helps me, Getting more comfortable with myself because im actually seeing me(If that makes nay sense :p)
Makes a lot of sense. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1422636993,1422636878][/DOUBLEPOST]
I've always been self conscious in front of the camera. I do at least three false starts on every video. I think the thing that helps me, is that I'm really into my subject matter. Once I get rolling with my topic, I forget the rest.
The more passionate I am about the topic, the more comfortable I feel. I should start doing the whole "false start" thing.

I definitely felt awkward in front of the camera at first...But I made a rule to not delete my work (maybe I will at least put it on private), This way I can learn from my mistakes and be better next time! :D So keep up the awesome work and its great that you have the courage to keep trying.
