Do You Ever Feel Like Quitting YouTube?

I totally know how you feel. Sometimes I gain subscribers, sometimes I loose subscribers, sometimes my views are higher than average, sometimes their lower etc. It can definitely be demoralizing, however that shouldn't be too much of a problem if you truly are doing something that you love. I wouldn't let it get you down too much, I always say youtube is a long term investment.

I haven’t had any thoughts to quit, but I have gone on breaks due to life getting in the way. As much as I am passionate about being a YouTuber and making content people can learn from and enjoy, it’s hard to balance that with life. I’m sure that’s something many of us here can relate to.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough doing it. Other people seem to grow their channel much faster than I do and it is discouraging. However, I remind myself that YouTube is just my platform to improve my skills i.e. public speaking, marketing, video editing, etc.

I think raising the count so high to be monotized has slowed me down. It wasn't a lot of money but something. It now just caters to million view channels and the rest of you can take a walk.

I've thought about quitting quite a few times, I usually take a week break or try not to think about it for a few days, but then I'll suddenly be inspired to make a video... so I don't think I'll quit any time soon, unless something really bad happens LOL

I can't say i have but then again i haven't been at it very long....I think its something creative to look forward to for me!

I have. Making music covers, performing, and songwriting are all a lot of fun and a lot of work. It's something I'd somehow like to pay the bills with some day. There are other outlets for music near me and I do them, but they are also voluntary. What it boils down to is that I want to do music (possibly acting as well, since I'm involved in theatre.) Youtube isn't necessarily my dream per se. But it could be if that's the outlet that allows me to pursue my passion full-time. If that makes sense. For me my schedule with jobs makes it difficult to post consistently throughout the year. Sometimes I just get frustrated, but I really enjoy finishing and posting a video. My annoyance comes from myself and my lack of being able to get on and stick to a schedule.
