Do you ever compare your channel?

I compare my channels sometimes - i see people who do worse and some people who do phenomenally better and make me jelly which in turns make me want to do better

I do this all the time, I spot what I like and try to implement it in my channel I think here lies my biggest motivation to do better to have someone who's better ><
 
I compare. But it's not so much as " I have more videos and views why do they have more subscribers" but in a way where I look at where they started and where I'm starting and try to improve my qulaity of videos faster than they improved theirs
 
i compare if someone has similar content (not that anyone does, it seems), but i compare techniques rather than subs/views.
 
I compare myself in quality to those channels I want to emulate at some point. There are only a few big channels that have puppeteers (that aren't focused on kids' content), so it's a small group. But if I could make something as interesting and trippy as "Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared," I'd probably be really happy with myself.
 
There are a few youtubers with a very similar niche and once in a while I do check the out.
Honestly said, I sometimes get a bit jealous when I see with what kind of simple or weird videos that I would never dare to upload they get high amount of views and their subs like them.
Maybe I just put too high standards on myself.
