Do you even edit?

I try my best to edit and i'm learning as a go along, depending on what I need for a particular video. Editing is one of my favorite parts about the whole process.

Same here I really enjoy editing.

Everyone edits something. I mean, geez, you have to at least edit out the part when you're walking over in front of the camera and the part when you're moving in to turn off the camera cause you're done.

I edited quite often. These would be te outtakes where I screw up my intro and recordings that went on for too long. I do edit the long boring walks and long time finding items though.

I went to college to learn how to edit properly. Ironically I taught myself so much more afterwards, but it was a good jumping off point.

I can say I know the basics of editing. Just watch bunch of videos on how to edit good and I learned a bit.

I pretty much have to edit for my videos to work, and I can work my around After Effects and make things look good (don't really use AE for my videos). I am slowly getting better at animating, and I use photoshop to edit any visuals I have. So yes, I do edit.

I'm actually putting a LOT of effort in my videos, even though the majority is let's plays! But it also depends on the produced content. For example when I got a video with a lot of stuff going on I have to cut and add more which finally takes more time. When I made the Halloween Special (50 minutes long!) it took me about 20 hours to edit this thing![DOUBLEPOST=1385026425,1385026356][/DOUBLEPOST]But I really enjoy doing it! It's a lot of fun

What courses did you take, I've been interested in going to school for video editing lately.

I'm going to be frank with you. After completing college I couldn't find a job in these fields. Just giving you a heads up. I took story boarding, video editing (varying levels), film appreciation, graphic design(varying levels), and.... honestly I can't remember the others. One of them taught me how to restore destroyed images and stuff, but I can't remember its name. Its been like a decade now.

I always edit my videos. I think that's the most important part. I usually spend 1-5 hours editing.
