Do You Dream the YouTube Dream?

I've Got It
Hey there forum! Chimera here!

I did a commentary that got an awesome response yesterday and I figured I'd share it with you guys. Basically, my girlfriend and I have different outlooks on life and how it should be lived. And right now, I'm not in college (university for you non-Americans) because I'm working and doing the YouTube thing. This is what a lot of people dream of, but never sit down and make it happen. Well I'm making it happen. I hope you guys are too! Check out my commentary below and drop me some thoughts, and maybe hit that subscribe button if you like my content and want to here more of me!

Thanks guys and gals!

Well you could study really, really hard and maybe, maybe one day end up with the other 90% + who sit in the cubicle and wish they had tried harder to do what they love to do, instead of whitling their lives slaving away with no self worth working for the man who shows no gratitude and eeking out a meager living to pay for a weekend that feels as if it will never come. Myself included since I didnt have the heart to try for what I truly wanted.

Or, if you are very blessed, you will know what you want to do and have the conviction to pursue it early on, and then wake up every morning wanting to go do your hobby (job) and constantly feel like you WANT, not need to improve your content so you can be the best damn worker you could be.Maybe you will succeed, maybe you will fail, but at least you could never ask "What if?"

Knowing what you want to do early on is a privelige, not a right. If you are consumed by an idea of what you want to do, there is NOTHING more tragic than not following it up.

It's not that I dream to get famous off of youtube, though that would be cool. I do it more for the fans. I only get around 12-20 views per video and I love the response that I get when people say "please post more" or "keep up the good work". The dream of a youtube life is very desirable, but it takes patience. It is not gonna happen in one day. Stick to it my friend and you will be at the top in no time. Best wishes to you.

As always I love your vids and your outlook on life. I went to uni and if anything it inspired me further to create. It wasn't the life changer people told me it would be, but more of a place to affirm what I could be.

Nevertheless I have a job which offers me enough to get on by while still giving me the option to create youtube content. In this respect my dream is to create content that pushes what I know about editing and structure while entertaining others. I would be content if even one person liked my videos as it would verify the time I spent learning new techniques.
