Do you clickbait?

I guess I do to an extent, but not on every video. and not to the point of lying (like those who said "I was almost killed by a dog" and the video is about his new puppy licking his foot or something like that)

I stay true to the video and don't exaggerate it.
 
I have been accused of clickbaiting, and to be honest it hurt my feelings a little bit as I see clickbait as a terrible thing.

I was defintiely a title innovator in my niche, and now everyone similar does it. Because it's poker clips, sometimes it's not the most exciting thing, so we HYPE THINGS UP, using capitals etc..which does work.

Sometmies I've over-hyped things too much or my opinion on what's going on has had lots of people disagreeing. When this happens I've been accused of clickbait and usually I will change the title.

My concern is that if you're too clickbaity, you'll get a lot of complaints and get your channel shut down? I'd rather have a steady stream of engaged viewers than a quick hit of disappointed ones.
