Do i need to link my Adsense to view Earnings?

I dont have an Adsense account with my YouTube account right now........I have Monetizaation enabled..
i recently reacched 1000 views. and the estimated earnings are zero, so i am pretty confused!

Does the YouTube Analytics preview earnings without adsense? or will i start earning only if i create an adsense and link it?
 
Yes you have to connect your adsense account asap. Because you will not receive any earnings prior to that time. This is really not fair you can have momentisation enable but you will not receive any money until you connect adsense. When you do it, then you start from 0.00 and receive earning from the days that will follow and now for the views you had before.

Sound crazy ? well it is actually true. I just recently connected my adsense account to youtube with 160k views I have not receive a penny from it. I can only see my earnings from the day I connected adsense. Before that I check google support forums and there was a official reply from staff that confirmed this. If you lucky you may get a bonus, but that's all.

So connect adsense as soon as possible :)
