Do channel trailers get views?

If you have a trailer on your channel that auto plays, I'll click off. I hate those auto-play things. I'll watch a video if I dang well please! :) If it's a channel I really want to check out, I'll immediately hit pause on the trailer and check out vids I want to watch. Auto-play trailers annoy the heck out of me!
