Do accents/race hinder your grouth?

Most times when i am done editing my videos i find myself constantly judging the pronunciation of words i say thinking to myself "someone ill make fun of it" or "i know i can do/say this better" and you know what they say...there is no worst critic than yourself.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm natively English and I do this all the time... The amount of times I've edited a video and heard myself say a word a bit sideways, my reaction is always "...why did I say it like that?!"

Regarding your initial question, personally I don't think I've ever been put off by an accent - in fact, a few people I follow are from non-English speaking countries. I tend to judge based on their character, and in times have found people more endearing due to having an accent I'm not used to (as someone else said in this thread, JackSepticEye being one of them).

You are not alone my friend, it is quite a challenge which makes the YouTube experience even more worth doing because you gradually get comfortable with your own pronunciations.
