Would you then separate into playlists?
Exactly the proper use of playlists is vital if you have a multi genre channelWould you then separate into playlists?
Yeah, I thought that to be the case, but I've seen other YouTubers do it quite successfully.
Perhaps its something that comes with success?
Basically, I want to create funny vlog-type videos, parody videos, travel videos, and documentary videos. Do you think those types will create too much confusion?
Me personally I am not a fan of schedules because after a while you start to become a slave to your schedule. Free form is the best way for most creatives to operate, also predictability can be a good thing but also a bad thing.

Exactly well said at the end of the day it's about doing what works for youFair point, I think it depends on the person. Both having a schedule and not having a schedule can work just fine. At the end of the day it comes down to what works best for the individual person![]()
Again some good points here. What do you all do when uploading videos? Do you have a genre you like to produce?
Personally I make 2 types of videos:
1) Your Morning Dose of Positivity - videos I upload in the mornings 1x per week where I give advice on topics that students can relate to
2) Vlogs - These I upload whenever. Sometimes they're daily vlog style, sometimes I just rant on a certain topic. E.g most recently I made a video abut embarrassing facts about me.
I would like to make more blog videos, but I think that filming my latest video (a trip to Rio which was a travelogue really, no speaking, just music and images) that I want to go more into that side. I am planning another which is more of a 'mockumentary' - which might affect how long between posts. Do you think I should keep a constant upload or is it OK to take longer on production to upload something?
