Dilemma - Facebook or Not

I advertise on every place I can! So yes, including facebook. I have a page there though, so only all the people who've liked it can see my stuff, but everyone at school knows about my videos anyway.
One suggestion though, if you're gonna use facebook... I read this tutorial post on here some time ago that's supposed to get you more likes, views and comments... every time you put up a new video, don't share the VIDEO on facebook, share your CHANNEL instead :D
Otherwise people will just comment on facebook and like on there too, but if they're forced to go on your channel, they'll actually like and comment there, at least all those who have accounts. I haven't tried this out yet but the person who tried the experiment said it was very successful :bounce:

Thanks for the suggestion! Using that, I will most likely share my channel and then a few videos here and there, but tell them to go check out my channel for more videos like it.

♪I won't back down!♪ I am thinking of doing a post basically saying how I enjoy YouTube, have developed since my first channel, and that if they want to go hate, they can go headbutt a knife as it ain't going to stop me. :) xD

This! Dude, who cares if they're in your year in school, if you think there's people on your facebook who are gonna hate then they're clearly not friends, just delete them. It's not worth having them on there. I don't get that...

Anyway, you should definitely advertise on there! The more you can spread the word about your videos, the better. And, if the people on facebook really are your friends, they should support you rather than hate on it. I'm not saying they won't give constructive criticism, constructive criticism is much better than hate and your friends could give you honest opinions that could improve your videos.
 
You as well shouldn't just go for the approval-tactic, if they talk let them talk. :D
only-approved comments make ppl think youre scared of criticism. not good. =)

Thanks! I will most likely delete the dudes who just seem to hate me for no reason at all. I will keep everyone else, and hopefully they have matured over the past year. If not, they are getting deleted. :)
