difference between exporting, saving and uploading

hey guys.... I'm just wondering what the difference is between the three things that are listed in the title. When I see youtubers talking about exporting their videos and stuff I always want to comment back (not that they would respond or anything) but I don't cuz I'm not sure what the difference is and I don't want to look stupid. I feel like this is the place where I can ask this question and get a correct answer while not being completely made fun of seeing how there are newbies everywhere on this site.

Exporting is like sending something to a location but in terms of videos/computing it's primarily where you export from a program like Vegas or Premiere, you're sending the edited video to a folder/location so it can be uploaded or used by another program/service. Example YouTube, you need to export the video before you can upload it to YouTube.
Saving is kind of similar to exporting but in terms of video editing usually means saving the video project, again like Vegas or Premiere, you would be saving the video/project in it's current state and not in a state where another program can use it. Although, this could also mean the samething as exporting as some people refer to that as saving the video.
Uploading in layman's terms is just sending data to a server or computer where either you or others have access to it. Again YouTube being the example, you need to upload it to YouTube's servers before anyone else can watch it via YouTube. I hope that helps.

Exporting means saving the product into a more "universal" format. Also known as "rendering". So it'll end up in a video file, like .mp4, .wmv, .asf, etc.
Saving (in video editing) means saving it in a project file, which can be only opened on that editor. Sure it'll bring up the whole video with cuts, effects, etc. but it CANNOT be played by players :)
Uploading just means the opposite of downloading, you're putting it on the internet :)
