Did you tell your friends?

Hey everybody so I have been making videos for a few months and my close family knows what I do and a few close friends... But I never told much of my friends really.
I guess I'm afraid of their reaction or if they would make fun of me or something. Or feel the need to make comments on how I am or do.
I like what I do and think it will be a great memory later to look back on but I am just a bit afraid of other people's opinions on it.
So I'm wondering did you tell your friends what you do on YouTube? And did you do that right away or after a little while?
 
I tell some people I have a youtube channel and I have over 34k+ views, but they don't believe me. I want to tell them but I don't want to tell either. :b
 
I started making animations like half a year back now, and released first animation like last month, and now half my school and almost all my friends know what I'm doing. :)
Didnt tell anyone except 3-4 of my friends, have gotten even job offerings from friends and random people around the internet. :)

I guess things like that just comes out eventually by itself. :P

Wow that's great! And yeah I also feel like if it needs to happen people will find out eventually.
