Did You Have a Channel Before Your Current One?

No this is my first one. And so far I have begun to realize there is a lot more that goes into this than I thought! Loving the journey tho
 
I did indeed. I used to upload under the guise of a Poketuber. The channel was called TehRaquaza2094. I had to stop,though when acekards were no longer being supported for the newer 3DS as I then would be sacrificing quality. Also, Nintendo got strict.
 
I had one which still exists today but most of the videos are gone. I don't have access to it anymore though. It started with a tutorial for picnik (2012's picmonkey) and then I made two mashup videos. They were mashups of the original and glee versions of some rocky horror songs. Poorly made but it was acceptable back then! They actually did pretty well from memory (I can't check but around 30-60k each I think) They've been taken down though because of copyright though :(
I also posted clips from a Paramore concert live stream and they got heaps of views and are still up (the channel is called Caitlinisme97)

I would post random videos from my webcam (just talking crap or playing with the effects and dancing to music) which got me interested in making videos so I started fresh with my current channel and slightly less pointless stuff.

I also made a gaming channel with some friends that just fizzled out and it's super embarrassing. I wish I could take it down but I don't remember the details and haven't spoken to those people in a few years. I did enjoy making those videos quite a lot though.

I also had ANOTHER channel with another friend, where we made music videos when that was a craze and a couple cringeworthy vlogs. Again, that just fizzled out.
 
Yerp, I did indeed have an old channel I uploaded to for 2 years, it's still there just so I can show my growing process!
 
This is our first channel and I am so glad that we made one together! We both have different talents, but also show our compatability as a couple who also vlogs!

I had one channel when I was in high school. I was originally going to go a more Philip DeFranco route and do a bunch of news as pressing social issues while remaining neutral on the subject and allowing the viewers to decide how they felt without my opinion being thrown at them. Being in high school however, didn't allow me to have the best equipment or the greatest intelligence to be able to do so and it mostly became a vlogging channel where I just talked at my iPod about how my day was or something. I had fun doing it, but I got to college and decided to let it go. Now I have a gaming channel, which is what I wanted all along anyway, I just couldn't afford the equipment back then. I look back at my old channel every so often and it gives me a nice warm feeling of nostalgia

Had one when I was like, 12 years old, uploaded stupid cuts from TV shows and retarded s**t like that. I don't have the password anymore but currently it has about 25x as many views as my actual channel

That's how mine is too lol But I think it's because YT was older then and there wasn't so much congestion.
 
Still do have my old one.

It was just a mess of family videos and short animations I would tinker with from time to time. Never anything serious.

Its a shame though, I never really got my head around Youtube until I was alot older.

One day I started a new channel to post a politically motivated video up. It was more to have a clean slate than anything else. I think I put a few videos up then left it at that until someone I knew said I should keep commentating and keep making more. Thats when I found this place.
