I also think it's wasteful, and really disrespectfull for the people who don't own a Phone but want to. Although it's old and doesn't work anymore destroying it will not make any friends.

Yes, I agree so instead of destroying it ill just donate it to redcross charity onstead they ask for broken phones and similar things like that.

It's stupid and it's dangerous. Just because one person doesn't have troubles, someone else could have a too-powerful microwave and cause the damn thing to catch fire.
