Deleting hate comments vs. responding to them

I think your responding the right way
but if they are just trying to p**s you off then ban them from your channel
 
I just delete the comment if it's really bad and move on, if not then let the person make a clown of themselves.
 
Maybe I have a bias considering I mostly deal with a particularly bad community of viewers (League of Legends). But giving them any attention at all just feeds the fire and blows up in your face. In less its someone that is obviously not trolling and simply has a misunderstanding about you or your videos, its best to ignore it and delete the particularly bad stuff.
 
If it's a "hate" comment that's extremely rude and uncalled for, I delete and block.

If it's a "hate" comment that's like "I didn't like this video" or something, I generally just ignore it.

I think there's a difference from a "hater" or "troll", than someone leaving a negative comment.
 
Hate is good (in my opinion) it gets attention to your video and if there is an argument with a hater more people might get involved in the comments. I personally find it halarious when people try to give me hate

KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS! It really depends on the comment but if I feel like it relates to the video I will repsond in a very nice way and thank them for watching the video. Becuase I really do appreciate everybody's feedback (even if they aren't so nice about). If it is something about my country hate comment or just random hate I just ignore it. A comment is a comment. Sometimes other people will even argue with that person in the comments and that leads to even more comments. More comments helps out your video growth![DOUBLEPOST=1396642094,1396642042][/DOUBLEPOST]

You may be correct but I want to be sure.

In the past, I blocked people. I could see their comment remain in their Feed but the comment was no longer actually on my comments page.
 
Depends on the situation. For my channel I have to figure out a song and make a video about it in the same day, usually within the hour. So even though I'm really good at what I do, I still make errors time to time and people who care more about the song than I do will call me out on it. If they are nice, I'll thank them for the addition. If they are mean, then I delete the comment. The worst is when they try to call me out and they end up being wrong... I have a chuckle and then tell them they are wrong.
