Deleting Comments and Notifications.

Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask this. When leaving a comment on someones video, what happens if I delete it later before they see it? Will this person still be able to read my comment and get a notification? I've attempted testing this with another account I had and all I got was a notification alert, but no indication of what it said or from whom. It simply didn't show up in my alerts tab.

Anyone else who would like to weigh in on this?
 
I've had this in the past. I got the Google+ notification and I was able to read the comment in there, however when actually heading over to the comment in youtube.com/comments I couldn't see it anymore...

After closing the Google+ notification there was no way to see it again

This was a while ago and keep in mind that things can change, so it may not be true anymore :p
 
I think if you delete it from their channel it will disapear. But I get email notification of all comments and that you wont be able to retract.

Ahh see, well whatever happens will happen. I was dealing with some guys that were replying with vulgar hate messages to a comment I made. It was taken of context and think they were trying to find any old excuse to harass me, even though I was calm and "killed them with kindness." with my replies. I left the conversation (no sense giving them the satisfaction!) I deleted the whole thing and blocked them, but later saw them bullying their own viewer who was only offering a suggestion about creating a more positive community. I left a comment agreeing that "Spreading hate and lashing out at your fanbase will do you no good." It was a bit of an impulse on my part. I quickly backed out and deleted it, I didn't want to cause more trouble, given the brutality of their comments before. (telling me to kill myself, I'm a failed abortion, etc.) Tsk Tsk, sad how filled with hate people can be. Buuuuut It's better to walk away from people like that. :) If they find another way to harass me, They're making it easy for me to gather evidence to report.

Sorry lengthy reply. But that is pretty much the reason I asked.
 
Oh, that's too bad. Comments sections can get really toxic. I'm glad you just left that conversation, because honestly, sometimes it's just not worth your time and effort.
 
Hahaha!.....same thing happened to me 3 days ago....I just receive a google+ notification I also able to read the comment.But when I head over to the actual video it was disappeared.....(Vanished) .....:D:D:D

I was able to read them, but I couldn't reply to them since they were deleted. I never payed too much attention to them. You could edit the comment if it was somehow really bad and once they see the notification I believe they see the most recent comment aka the edited version.
