Delayed views for some videos?

Why does youtube delay views for some videos and not others? I've posted videos that were up for an hour and I could see the view count go up normally or immediately but others don't update for hours:eek: WTF lol.
 
Hasn't this always been the case though? I also notice that videos will sometimes update in views but the total views doesn't increase. I wonder how long the delay is though I feel embarrassed sometimes that I watch my channel like a hawk.

No I Know that but I mean it doesn't change at all for hours! For example when I respond to comments on my video from my video my views go up from me ( I hate these views, I think our views shouldn't count) but it will go up one automatically! but others will get stuck at 3 views and have 5 unique comments and wont show the true view count until god knows when!
 
my anystats statistic is gowing down because youtube doesn't update my total view count and now it says i gained 0 views yesterday, when actually i gained more than 100.

it's pretty annoying because i want to aply for a partnership and i need the statistic...
 
YouTube seems to be rubbish for this. It's the same with all stats I think. I've been looking at my audience retention rate to see how long people stay for and, to one side of this page, there's another feature which you apparently have to have 100+ views to use/get an accurate reading. None of my views are even close to 100+ and yet sometimes it lets me use this feature but only with certain videos...

Don't even get me started on view count, lol.
