Dealing with Trolls/Keyboard Warriors

Everyone here will or have experienced some type of troll. How do you deal with them? or do you just ignore them? Do they make you feel like maybe you shouldn't do this or does that just add more fuel to the fire making you more determined to put out greater content.

Me personally when I deal with trolls, I do gaming(who doesn't) lol. So we deal with a lot of these 12-13 year old tough screen guys. I like to fool around and talk back to them (in a nice way). It doesn't get me down because I believe 1 positive comment will outdo 10 negatives. I don't take things personally and even if I do get a troll I will seriously take in their consideration if its reasonable. So in a way, they are actually helping me too lol.

Spot on there. some would tend to block them, but if I did, I would probably do the same, just to mess around and pick their brains (if they have any that is). Would be a good rise in morale just to mess with them, just don't feed them, either leave them or beat them, I say. Probably the best would be to ignore them in some situations haha. Like you said, it's just helping the person on the receiving end get more attention.

I fire back at them, I think it's funny actually
 
You don't deal with them unless you want to. They can be a great source of entertainment you know! Just as long as you can't be bothered by the dislikes they will put on your videos. Because they tend to do that thinking you care. And some people do care about that because threads about it are rampant.
 
People always say ignore the trolls, but I think as long as the language is appropriate (I have a family friendly channel and delete comments with swearing or aggressive language) I leave them and often respond. Comments and views are good, if you're watching and hating it I still get the view ;)
 
The normal thing to do would be to just ignore them. The fun thing to do, similar to you, is to reply to anything negative they say but put a really positive spin on it - I like to call it 'reverse-trolling', they never know how to reply.
